Don't use @page counters if they're not necessary: if there's no @page rule, the build scripts know it's safe to generate headers and footers.
The dummy text could be much shorter. If you give the box a narrow width, seven “words” should be sufficient.
To test this, you should also include tests to make sure real numbers and negative integers are not accepted. E.g. add “orphans: 2.00; orphans: -3” after the valid rule. (You'll need to flag the test as invalid.)
